June Prayer Letter

Well it's been a long time coming but its back after an immensely busy May and illness striking my family and myself in the past 2 weeks it seemed as though this prayer letter was never going to see the light of day but this is not what God wants so please keep praying for each other and also we're back with a regular length version as well so there's plenty for you to keep you praying at all times

Eternal Radio

I would be grateful if you could pray for the following things for ER;

Resources - content, presenters, music. A continuing increase in listeners. The finances to cover ever growing streaming costs due to an increase in listeners,

Glorious Undead

For GU, we've moved to a church building in the heart of Camden now and into a season of warfare for the church! And surprisingly enough the prayer life for the church has increased as well! ;D

so prayer for God to tell us how to advance and reach out in His power would be good. We want to keep things moving forward and see His Kingdom grow!

And thanks to God for His blessings on us through many different people giving us encouraging words.

Sanctuary NI

Prayer Requests - Prayer for Cloverstone, it is time for us to seriously sit down and get this festival happening. We would ask for prayer for this to happen. The InTune conference was a big success but now the speakers have been under constant pressure from the enemy – keep Ken, Brian and Dave in your prayers until they get through this battle. A new issue of Detonation mag will be online within the next month and also final arrangements for Greenbelt are being made

Update from Denmark:

Band Retreat Weekend (7-9th of August) - A weekend of worship and seminars to bands and musicians. We are preparing at the moment.

Intense Sanctuary (12-17th of October) - A week of worship and seminars!

Intense Extreme Radio - We are going to start working more on this soon.

Solace The Day - are going to play Cornerstone and some other smaller gigs in the states.

Bow before the scene

"Bow before the Scene" takes place the first Saturday of each month, simply one day a month you can set aside for prayer for spirit-filled bands. Pray that the bands stay strong in the spirit. Pray that they acquire the resources needed to spread the love of God throughout the world. Pray that more bands rise up to give glory to God. Pray that more people will come to know Jesus through spirit-filled music. Let us pray worldwide as a community and begin to see amazing blessings for the scene!

Prayer requests

SC Promotions – that God will continue to bless what we are doing at Bar South and also as we look at new areas that God will give us discernment into what we are doing

Website – We have now had visitors from over 20 different countries and as more content is added we hope to see even more also we have now taken over running of the network site In Christ Net so please visit us there as well and pray that this site will continue to be a blessing to all who visit it

Prayer Network/Ministry Trips – in May I had the pleasure of visiting Elements of Rock and working with the Sanctuary International worship band leading pray and praying with hundreds of young men and women - we will be visiting Northern Ireland/Wales/London/Germany and Scandinavia over the coming year please pray that finance is released so that we can continue to work closely with our brothers in the Lord

The Stand – This is now almost planned and about to be promoted – 1 outreach event on the 30 th Oct followed by the Stand event on the 31 st Oct with worship being led by Godfrey Birtill

Finance – As normal all we do is self financed and God has been gracious and provided for please pray that it continues and that people support us especially as we need the finance for travel over the coming year

Rock and Roll Zombies

Hi folks - please pray for our busy month!

we have been working really hard to bring together Mason Summers for their UK tour - please especially keep them in your prayers between June 5th and 14th.

Finally, we're all shipping over to the US with Rodent Emporium, Indafusion and More Than Dust to tour and go to Cornerstone festival. Please pray for the whole lot of us - about 20 peeps in all!

Nordic Mission

June is an extremely busy month for us up here in the North. Nordic Mission will be visiting 4 festivals in the next 5 weeks with out tent and booth, and the first one coming up is Sweden Rock with 25.000 visitors next weekend. This is the first time we are going to spread some positive vibes and are very excited about it!

Also we need to get the rest of the NordicFest line-up completed by the end of week. We could use some prayers for this!

Vickie + Rob Schellert – The Bridge

Prayer prayer prayer... yes please...

My visa is still in the hands of the powers after having been returned because they raised the fee. I've managed to resend it but am now in debt to some friends who loaned me the money and it's going to take a miracle to get that together soon. For those who don't know, this is my application for permanent residency so it's a rather big one! We need this to be taken care of by the end of July really.

Things at The Bridge are going really well with God's spirit moving amazingly, baptisms coming up, and people growing in Christ. A few hiccups along the way, what with dealing with people who have lives and problems as we all do, etc. so prayer that we'd be wise and that we'd all be protected from evildom. We've engaged a bit with an anarchist group and with London's zine scene and we need wisdom for where to go with all that too. Rob's developing a study group for the guys (guys are a new addition to our church, a real answer to prayer!), we're looking at some outreach stuff, and keeping up with other activities and gatherings already going on.

We really need prayer for more financial support as while things are going really well with ministry and work; things are very tight for us as far as having any life goes. We're strapped financially and really it'd be nice to get out every once in a while and have some fun with friends. Also we'd like to (need to) move into a larger place as soon as my visa comes back. Our current flat is 20m square. Yeah. It's a miracle we still get on with each other haha!

Praise God for all the great accomplishments and his faithfulness :0)

Ken Eaves – Flame CCR

Items for prayer.

Flame CCR.

Still no site for an antenna. Time is running out and so is money. Income has dropped below £400 a month. Relationships need to be healed and restored.

Personal.

"So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through". John 8:36 (The Message). Thank you Lord for forgiveness and restoration!

God is doing something new, but doesn't He always? After a period of being in a wilderness, self inflicted, I have been brought back down to earth with a bump! Things that have been left to 'go their own way', have had to be dealt with and it wasn't easy. Thankfully, God is gracious and merciful and it's getting better all the time. Things that have been holding me back have been broken off and I'm free. Not 'there' yet but heading in the right direction again.

Relationships/friendships being restored that have been neglected. Some still ongoing.

Family is getting better as well. My two sons have decided the time has come to get their lives right with God and it's awesome to see what God is doing in them. Their relationships with their partners and children need prayer.

Other opportunities are opening up in radio, waiting to see how they develop.

Finances are improving.

God has been doing a lot of healing and restoration in me, emotions, thoughts, feelings and more. He has been speaking to me about lots of things, forgiveness, resentment, anger, bitterness, love, faith, enough, I think you get the picture. Some of it I'm still unpacking. Learning a lot from it and others, who have been supportive on the internet, still lots to learn from it! Amazingly, some have had similar words and scriptures from God, so it's almost like receiving confirmation.

One thing that's happening is that my osteoarthritis, both knees, is better than it has been for a long time. I know this is to do with what God is teaching me at the minute. Learning more all the time, never imagined I knew it all anyway.
