In December 2007 following Gods prompting Brian Bassingthwaighte contacted 10 ministries and individuals with the aim of forming a prayer network, connecting each other through prayer for support within their ministries and in their personal lives

Over a year later and via a monthly prayer letter the prayer network connects between 40 and 50 individuals, ministries and missionaries with over 20 regularly participating

Whilst the majority of the participants are from the UK there are also ministries/individuals from Denmark,Germany and USA with more joining every month being involved with varying activities from radio, youth work, Christian hard music and many others

Fellowship is something we want to encourage amongst the Church in this land from simply praying with each other to supporting ministries on the ground with visits and advice to other ways as well

As well as the prayer network Steel Cross plans to work more closely with ministries in 2009 with more visits planned to encourage and support new ministries to continuing with the InTune conferences (run by Meltdown ministry) and hopefully joining with Sanctuary International worship band at festivals across Europe
